Recent Olympic Peninsula vacation rental reviews

Beautiful home where we saw eagles constantly passing by and the hummingbird feeders provided constant entertainment. The kitchen and outdoor dining areas were superb. Plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the view.

We had a lovely vacation in this sweet home. The location is fantastic, a quick walk to a beautiful shoreline and a 10 minute drive from downtown Bainbridge. House felt safe and private. Great yard! There was plenty of space for our family of 4. The best part was having access to the kayaks! So much fun. We managed not to bang our heads on the oven hood thanks to other reviewers warnings! Loved this spot, hope to return!

With its Victorian mansions, maritime heritage, and vibrant arts scene, Port Townsend is one of the most popular vacation destinations on the Olympic Peninsula. A magnet for writers and other creative types, this lovely seaport town is rich with culture -- browse the galleries, see a play, tour artists' studios, and dine on excellent Pacific Northwest cuisine in this darling burg. Looking for Port Townsend lodging? Skip the hotels and book one of our Olympic Peninsula vacation rentals, which offer more creative environments, better privacy, and all the comforts of home.

Explore the Olympic National Park and Forest

The Olympic Peninsula is home to its own majestic mountain range, the Olympics. Here you'll find natural hot springs for soaking, serene lakes for fishing, paddling, and swimming, and many beloved hiking trails and rock climbing sites. Inside the Olympic National Park, you'll also find the mystical Hoh Rain Forest, where 12 to 14 feet of annual rainfall make for an incredibly lush landscape, with greener than green ferns and mosses lining the forest floor beneath an ancient and dense tree canopy.

The Olympic National Park is an easy day trip from any town on the Peninsula, and a must-see when you're visiting the area. And if you're traveling with a dog to one of our pet-friendly Olympic Peninsula vacation rentals, the National Forest lands surrounding much of the national park have hiking trails that are open to four-legged explorers!

Whether you're gallery-hopping in Port Townsend, hitting the trails in the Olympic Mountains, beach combing in the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, or exploring the growing crop of local wineries and breweries, there's no better way to experience this tranquil region than by making one of our Olympic Peninsula vacation rentals your cozy and convenient home base!
