Recent Smoky Mountains vacation rental reviews

Our son is a huge train enthusiast and we loved our time staying here for Spring Break. It was such a surprise for him to stay in a caboose (that had a hot tub). All of the fine details were noticed and appreciated. Location is great too. Some little things that could be fixed/changed are the amount of light switches (not sure what they were used for), instructions on the stringed lights timer as they stayed on all night long, instructions for the hot tub as it kept going on and off, for the grille to be refurbished/cleaned, and more towels/trash bags, toilet paper, etc as we stayed here for 7 nights. These things would not prevent me from booking this place again.

Where are the Smoky Mountains?

Technically a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, the Great Smokies rise up along the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. A section of the Appalachian Trail spans this area for over 70 miles. From rushing rivers and foothills to some of the highest mountain peaks in the Southeast, you'll find much to marvel at in the gorgeous landscape surrounding you.

Outdoor lovers, rejoice: all your adventuring dreams are possible when you stay in one of our Smoky Mountains cabins. When you’re needing a break from adventure, there is plenty of fun to be had indoors as well, including aquariums, museums, and breweries. Where should I stay when visiting Smoky Mountain National Park?

The cities and towns that pepper the Smoky Mountains are steeped in Appalachian charm. Only 4,000 people call the city of Gatlinburg home year-round, but over 1 million tourists flock to the area annually. This bustling city is full of delightful kitsch and attractions like Ober Gatlinburg, a ski resort and amusement park with indoor ice skating, mini-golf, a rock climbing wall, and even rafting in the summers.

An aquarium, Hollywood car museum, water parks, haunted house attractions, and moonshine distilleries are just a handful of the other activities that make Gatlinburg so popular. Be sure to browse our Smoky Mountain cabin rentals in this city for pet-friendly options, plus homes with swimming pools, game rooms, and more.

Or you can stay in Pigeon Forge, where there’s still an abundance of activities.
